need your help.during this covid19, as a tenant I cant physically visit the house. So agent has asked me to confirm via seeing video and pics. In video and pics, there was no such issue after which I signed LOI and on request of agent I deposit 1750 in owner account.even I signed TAI as she told me I can't view without signing it.when I saw unit, all wall was having multiple hairline crack and sofa has stain. I told her. She said it's normal in Singapore condo and hdb. I.told her to return money as lease not started. She started threatening me to complain in MOM and police station for trespassing the property.she telling me she handover key on good faith. Now again she is telling that owner has asked someone to paint house and tenant will not be responsible for crack in future .even sent mail to me. I want my deposit back as trust is breaked and threatening done.now I don't want to live in house. What can be done in this situation. Please let me know.

Hi Anjan Saxena,

In the current situation where a tenancy agreement has been signed, you have entered into a legal binding situation where should you be looking to terminate the lease based on your explanation of the scenario, you will be better advised by a lawyer who is professionally trained to advise on legal matters.
