Good morning buyer,

Great hearing from you!

I do understand you will like to utilise your CPF OA funds for this purchase but I am sorry to inform you that you are unable to do so.

Only owner of a property is able to take up mortgage loan and utilise their CPF OA funds in financing the property.

Hope my explanation helps!

May I know how can I assist both of you in your property purchase?

Warmest Regards,

Hi there, if this is your first property, my advice would be to purchase it under both your names. however, it this is your second property purchase, there may be a need to decouple in order to avoid ABSD and also enjoy a higher bank loan. Kindly drop me a call for a more detailed discussion in order for us to advice you accordingly.

Hi,

Do you currently have a HDB property? If so, MOP of 5 years must be met first before you can purchase condo. To utilize your CPF in the condo property, your name must also be included in the ownership.

Thanks and hope it clarifies. Perhaps I can have more details about your requirements so as to make better recommendations to your housing plans.

Warm regards

Morning,

Being co-owner of the unit, you can utilize your CPF funds for both the down payment and monthly installment on the purchase. However, do note that the amount of CPF which you can use will depend on the age of the unit, and our age and whether you had utilize CPF for other residential property in holding.
