Hi ddd,

You may rent out the rooms but to rent out the entire unit, perhaps you will require to get HDB's approval and usually you will require a good reason to do so. Take note that should HDB approves the renting of whole unit out, the period of which the unit is rented out will not be included in your MOP. Renting out of rooms will not be an issue and you will still be fulfilling your MOP.
