My 2nd hand condo (but which seller just got title deed from the developer) will be completed in two week's time and would to inspect the house one more time before completion to make sure there is no defect. However, seller is not cooperative and does not allow us to visit. Is there any legal actions that could be taken if what we see during house viewing is really not what we get eventually?

Also, the house is still under warranty period by developer but I was told only seller can submit defects list to developer as there is no contract between me and developer. Is that true? If so, and looking at how uncooperative seller is, what can we do when we really discover defects after getting the house?

Why is there no law that protect buyers in this situation in Singapore?
