I agree the property market is not like the equities, forex or futures markets. Even those, should there be such a correction, you will see people coming in to buy up the cheap offerings.
The same goes in property, yes there is the occasional fire sale by owners, but equally fast these units are snapped up.
Good examples are discounts given by Capitaland for D'Leedon at Farrer Road, of which my agency ERA is representing the developer for sales there. With some discounts, D'Leedon became the number one top selling condo in the month of Feb and March 2013. The same goes for Interlace, its nearly TOP, and with the discount, many units were snapped up.
These are specific examples, not just some theory.
