I'm buying a house that is current tenanted. The transaction is currently handled by lawyers. Was informed that the seller of the house and the tenant are working towards terminating their lease which is due to expire 2 months from date of sale completion. I'm not looking forward to take over the unit so soon.

Should the seller proceed with the pre-termination while the sale transaction is still being finalised, do I have recourse to rental which was supposed to be paid by the tenant post-completion of the transaction?

Hi, since there are no agent involved for this transaction, then the best person to assist you further and to answer your query will be your lawyer.
