I'm a tenant and has signed a 1 year lease but the tenancy agreement has hidden monthly charges.
I'm not familiar with these fees and signed the tenancy agreement in good faith as I clearly mentioned the amount I can only afford to pay monthly.
I'm hearing terrible things from the previous tenant, staying in the same block, about the landlord.
We decided to break lease even if it's hard to accept that our deposit will be forfeited but the landlord is also asking us to pay the pro-rated agent fee they paid to the agent.
It was mentioned in the contract that the agent's fee should be deducted from the deposit.
Will we have to pay the landlord's agent's fee still?
