As long as there's a Singaporean in the household, you are eligible to purchase a private property after fulfilling MOP.
You can purchase it as a SPR or with your wife. The additional buyer's stamp duty applicable (ABSD) will be 10%.
If your wife purchases it solely by herself, the ABSD applicable is 7%.
I will recommend to purchase solely under her name if finances permit.
