I was about to rent a retail space from a landlord.
We were in the midst of discussing the contract which was based on the format provided by the landlord's agent.
It is during this discussion that i felt that the contract was very poorly written and full of loopholes which the agent insisted that this is the so called standard practice.
The agent was also unhelpful as she refuses to amend the contract and ask me to get a lawyer to write the contract according to what i want.
I would like to ask experts here, shouldn't the landlord's agent be responsible in writing the document herself?
