With the current ruling, any privte property owner would have to sell their private property, within 6 months from the key collection of their resale HDB unit.

Hi Stephanie,

Yes, you are still able to purchase a HDB flat.
However, you have to sell off your private property within 6 months upon purchase of HDB flat.

    Hi William, I am still confused because my friend bought a resale 5-room HDB in 2009 and at the time when she bought the HDB she owns a 99 years condo in Yishun.

    Will she be impacted by the new ruling?

    She is staying in her HDB and rented out her private condo.
