i just bought a resale HDB flat earlier this year and my boyfriend owns a condo. we will be getting married next year, does he have to sell away his private property? what is the legal implications on both properties if we got married, (considering that each of the property is under our own name only)? How can we keep both properties?

Hi Ms,

Both you and your boyfriend will be able to keep both your properties after both of you get married. However, do take note that you will still need to fulfill your MOP for your resale HDB before being able to sell or rent it out.
