Hi,

Based on the limited info shared, I can only make assumptions and best guess statements. It appears you do not have a requisite period to hold the property, but selling within the first 3 years after Feb 2019 will incur Seller's Stamp Duty. Its 12% / 8% / 4% for sale at 1st / 2nd / 3rd year.

Dear Sir/Mdm,

The law does not require you to hold the property for a period of time before you can sell. However, there may be Seller's Stamp Duty which is payable when you sell the property. The good news is you can apply for a remission of the Seller's Stamp Duty depending on when the property is originally bought.

Hi,

If the property were purchased on or after 20 Feb 2010, then Seller stamp duty will apply if you decide to sell.

Furthermore, the holding period is different depending on the date of purchase. For example, for property bought on or after 11 March 2017, the holding period is 3 years.

Other than the stamp duty, you should be able to sell your property.
