I heard a rumor that the blue flats that are being demolished on Zion road will make way for a new MRT station on the downtown line. Can this be confirmed? I own a flat in the nearby Tribeca development - in the case that station is being built, will it be good for local property values in the medium term given the timeframe for the completion of the line?

Hi Shane,

Different school of thoughts. If I do not get to enjoy the benefits of the MRT but instead having to tolerate the ongoing constructions and road diversions and etc, would you think as a buyer, will pay higher price to buy over a unit? Asking price will definitely increase, but you're likely to see a drop in demand until everything is over.
