I have moved out of my previous rented unit at Bedok Court, unit is currently on rental market so I wont say much except that We love the 4 bedder unit as it is facing the airport, great view, windy and it suited our lifestyle. Unfortunately, some disputes with the owner at the end of the tenancy with the fixes required. While we agreed on some items, we disagreed on others either as not our responsibility or because the amount quoted was kind of "out of range" in our opinion. Eg. Asking us to pay for LED lightbulbs when they were just normal lightbulbs??
We seek advice from the featured agent but she had simply asked us to either get our contractor to fix or seek legal opinion. Honestly, am quite disappointed with the service as we paid quite alot of rental in 2 years but we fully comprehend that there is ongoing business consideration.
Under such a dispute circumstances. what recourse if any? There is little protection for us it seems.
