I have a 4 room apartment in Sembawang, 5 minutes away from the MRT, i intend to rent it out while locking out 1 room because i would like to put my stuff inside the room.

What is the commission for agents like? I'm planning to rent it out for 1 year.

How much can i get for a 4 room flat without aircon while locking out one common room.

I would like to request for a 2 months + 1 deposit, is this possible?

Hi Abdullah,

Commission to agents for rental of 1 year is half a month of the rental. Based on estimate, you should be able to command at least $1.8k rental a month and if you are renting your unit as a furnished unit, you should be able to ask for more. Usually for a year rental, deposit is 1 month + 1 month advance rental but this can be negotiated with tenants.
