Hi, I'm afraid you can't purchase a resale HDB if you are buying on a sole name after you have successfully become a PR. For PR purchasing a resale HDB, it has to be joint name with spouse's and both have to be PR for at lease 3 years.

Good morning,

A SPR can only purchase a resale HDB with a SC or SPR while the SPR household must be SPR for at least 3 years individually.

If not, your alternative will be to purchase a private property.

SPR are only eligible to purchase resale HDB unit with SPR or SC spouse. Both of the SPR applicant will also need to fulfill 3 years on holding before they are eligible for the application.
