I bought a HDB Flat & agent assured me that unit is not under threat of "loan shark" unit. 4 months later, a letter addressed to my unit, in the name of the previous owner, which stated as confidential reminder for an Overdue Loan recovery from a Credit Company. The previous owner did not leave his new address nor ph no. I understand he rented a unit elsewhere. What should I do? What if he borrowed from illegal loan shark besides from the Credit Company? Should I made a police report?
