Good evening,

If you had purchased the property for your own investment or housing need, I'm afraid that you have to relinquish the ownership status within 6 months from key collection of the HDB unit. You will also need to be married to another SPR or SC in order to be eligible for the purchase.

Do feel free to contact me for further discussion.

Hi,

To be eligible to purchase a HDB flat, you will need to have a spouse who is a Singapore Citizen, or if your spouse is also a PR, both of you would need to be PR for a least 3 years, before you can purchase a HDB flat. Both of you will also have to dispose off all interests in all foreign residential properties within 6 months upon completion of your HDB flat purchase.

Alternatively, you can consider private condo. There will be no restriction on foreign property ownership in this case.

Should you need any further assistance in matters relating to property, please contact me at my mobile 9748 6305  . I will be happy to assess and share with you the possibilities for you and your partner in the current market.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Robbie Chen
