I am planning to sell my own house and will do a valuation first.

Question: Can I do a bank valuation and if buyer intend to go for HDB loan, is the bank valuation applicable? Or vice versa?

What are the advantages / disadvantages of bank and HDB valuation?

Hi,

Valuers appointed by HDB is required during the first appointment regardless of hdb loan or bank loan. In other words, you do you not have a choice but to use hdb appointed valuers.

If you think that i can be of help in marketing your unit, feel free to let me know as well.

Cheers..

Evening Lee,

As for all HDB units, HDB valuation is the only document that financial institute will recognise, in order to disperse a loan to the buyer. Hence it's more like "You don't have a choice" of situation, whether it's good or bad.
