It's a reasonable expectation but don't expect it to rise 10-20% that fast over the years based on the fact that you're acquiring one in the vibrant property market now. There are bound to be capital appreciation but to what extent? It's anyone's guess.

Since it's for your own living purpose, living in comfort is of up most importance. I'm sure you've done your homework on which is better to live in. As regards to your questions on the future financial aspect of the property, it shouldn't be much of an issue.

We will not be able to give u a definite answer. It is not impossible. I would say you would probably have to be patient and be able to hold your property probably beyond 5 years in order to be able to see the appreciation.

In the decade ahead, according to the URA Master Plan blueprint, you can expect to see major developments in Jurong area as there are plans to grow it to the CBD of the West.
