I am going to purchase a private condo soon with my non-working wife.
We are both Singapore PR, probably my wife will own 99% and I will own the remaining 1%.
Later if we want to purchase a second property, to decouple, I understand I have to sell my 1% to my wife.
My wife will need to take the home loan.
Since my wife is a full-time mom, don't think any bank will approve the loan application.
In this case, can I take the mortgage of both properties? Even though the 1st property will be solely own by my wife and the 2nd property will be solely own by me?
