I am currently stationed in the States, California. I have a lawyer in SG to do up a standard POA for sales of my SG HDB flat, but Notary Publics in CA can only sign a POA worded in the exact notarial wording required for CA only at the signature section. I am not sure if the anyone has the same problem before?. I am not sure if the POA will be accepted by HDB.

Hi Mr Han
Is your assigned POA based in SG? Basically I do not see any issues even though you are based overseas as I have many clients in the same situation as you.
You may reach me via 91442664  should you require further assistance.

Hi Mr Khoo, basically I see no issue over here as you already have a lawyer in Singapore who would be settling the POA with regards to the sale of your HDB unit. However, you may wish to contact the HDB Svc line if you do have some concern or issue to clarify further. The number would be 1800 866 3066. I would be most glad to assist you further too and pls feel free to let me know if you do need any assistance.

Evening,

Even with different template on the POA documentation, it should be recognized as long as the terms are legal binding in accordance to the specific country. Your lawyer will also be able to verify that the specific format that have being approved by CA legislation is in compliance with SG context.

Do contact me further should you require additional assistance.
