Hi Aida Ramil,

As your fiance is a foreigner, he needs to apply for approval from Land Dealing Unit first before both of you are eligible to purchase a landed property in Singapore. Unless the landed property will be under one name which is yours then it wont be a concern.

FYI foreigner is subject to additional buyer's stamp duty of 10% on top of the usual 3% buyer's stamp duty.

I will love to assist you in your property purchase! Feel free to contact me if needed.

Looking forward to hear from you soon!

Warmest Regards,
YT Tan

Hi,

As mentioned, get an approval from the LDU first.
Its based on case by case basis.

Cheers
