Hi there,pls bear with me with my enquiries, am 52Yrs old and my foreign spouse is 33Yrs old and she is currently on a LTVP, awaiting for he PR Application results, she has her son of 13 Yrs old from her previous marriage who is studying here on a Student pass. I'm currently an co-owner of a 4room HDB resale flat bought together with my ex and am awaiting for the court order to sell the house in the open market, I do not have outstanding mortgage loans. I would have an estimate of 135000 dollars in my CPF Ordinary Ac. I have previously taken two HDB Loans, and am a ex-bankruptcy, got discharge last year June. Tried applying for a Bank Loan for HDB but was turn down. My question would be, can I appeal for another HDB Loan of 280000 to purchase a 4 Room flat? If I can, approximately how much can I loan and what are the cost involved. My income per annum is about 45000, thank you for your time.

You need to seek MP help. But is likely your case will be rejected. As you already got 2 HDB loan before. How many direct HDB flat you got? If not you should try to apply 2 rm or 3rm HDB flat and you should be able to fully paid with your CPF. You should rent at the mean time. I think your case for Bank loan is high likely no go as bank is very wary of Ex- bankruptcy people. You really got to wait for quite awhile before you can get a loan from bank. Read More
