Hi,
The condo that I live in is taken on rent by my 2 flatmates ie their name appears on the TA and mine doesnt. The TA does not allow subletting but they signed a one page, non registered document with me for subletting where I am "liable" to find a replacement when I leave on 30April. However I did not leave and continued to stay. Now when I want to leave ie 1st aug, they want me to find a rplacement which should be a girl and of the same nationality we are. Do you think I am contractually obliged to 1) find a replacement (as subletting is not allowed in the TA) and the one page document that we signed is not registered. 2) find a "girl" of the same "nationality".
They are trying to get an approval form the owner fr allowing to sublet which hasn't come so far. I plan to move out on 1st Aug. Pls advise what repercussions will I have to face.
