When i submit the e application, do i include a property agent name? If I didnt include, someone will be assigned to me right? If I dont like the agent, can I change down the road? How does it work?

Second question - on the balloting day, do both the husband and wife need to be on site to sign the documents? Can just 1 of them be present?

Usually the salesperson should be the one that assist you with your purchase. Therefore you should contact an agent before you go down to the showflat and allow him to better advice, guide you through the whole purchasing process.

On your second question, prescences of both the applicant is required, otherwise a proxy form is needed to authorise the other applicant that is available to complete the process.

You do have a choice on which agent you want to represent you in your purchase. I suggest you work with somebody whom you're comfortable with, who can guide you throughout your purchase and beyond. Someone who can add-value to you.

Some of the value-added services I do offer to my clients who purchased new launches includes:

- helping in defects checks upon getting keys to their unit.

I will advise you to select the agent that you are comfortable with and include him/ her in the e-app so everything will run smoothly from the start.

As for the attendance on ballot day, both of you will be required to be around to sign some documents. If one of you is unavailable or out of town, probably you can consider to grant legal rights to the other party via power of authority (POA) at a law firm before the ballot day.

You may choose to go with any salesperson to assist you in your purchase but I would suggest that you go with someone who is experienced and neutral so that he or she can best value add to your purchase.

The salesperson must be able to share with you the pros and cons of each of your shortlisted projects and also provide you with advice on which is the best stacks in the whole development. You should be able to shortlist the best units in the development with the advice.

Both applicants will have to be present on balloting day to sign on the required documents!
