Hi,

My sister is buying under a single scheme and would like to know if she can rent out her 3 rooms flat.

May I know if she need to stay inside the house inorder to rent it out? Or she just need to closed one room and only rent out the other room?

Does taking housing grant and living near parent bar her from renting out the house?

Appreciate all kind help. Thanks in adavance.

Afternoon Kenny,

Your sister need to fulfill the Minimum Occupation Period, prior to be eligible to rent out the whole unit.
However, she can rent out the bedroom, provided she's also staying in the unit.
