Hi. My mom is a divorcee, and is not living with me and my 2 other siblings. We are currently staying in a 4rm HDB apartment in Pasir Ris. Recently, my mom is planning to move out into a better place. We are planning to sell our house and then look around for a Maisonette - preferably in the east area. This would be her first time selling and buying a property. Do we have to sell the house first, and then buy the new place with the payment we will receive? Our household income is around 10K. My mom, my siblings and myself are all working adults. Please advise.thank you.
