Hi, my husband and I are done with the first appointment of our first resale house. After the appointment we found that the whole building doesn't have a gas pipe and we do not like the idea of using cylinder gas. We were not informed about it by the owner or his agent. We are thinking of backing out now and the 2nd appointment is on 3rd April. We are really confused of what can be done :( please help us by giving advice on this.

Hi, I'm sorry to say that there is nothing you could do as you can't back out now.

Hi,

Sorry to inform, but you cannot back up now. The onus is on you to check before committing to a purchase. Your representing agent should be able to advise you prior to committing to the unit.

Should you need any further assistance in matters relating to property, please contact me at my mobile 9748 6305  . I will be happy to assess and share with you the possibilities for you in the current market.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Hi,

As fellow agents mentioned, you cannot back out now but to proceed with the purchase.

I am not a fan of cylinder gas also. Not all buildings (HDB/Condo) are supplied with piped gas.

My solution would be to use INDUCTION stove. Run on electricity. You will never run out of gas.

However you need to buy INDUCTION pots and pans.

Hope my suggestion helps.
