Hi Mdm Jenny,

There is no time restriction for you to purchase a HDB resale flat. You can purchase it anytime, even before selling off your condo.

However, do take note that you will have to dispose off all interest in private residential properties within 6 months upon the completion of the HDB flat.

If you are referring to new HDB BTO flats, provided you meet the eligibility conditions, you will have to sell off your condo, then wait out a 30-month period, before being able to apply for a new BTO flat.

However, you have to wait out a 30 month period after selling your condo before you can apply BTO.

Evening Jenny,

If you are looking at BTO unit, you need to wait for 30 months after the sales of your condo before you can submit your application online. To obtain a unit would mean you have to wait for the queue number and for the unit to be built.
However, you can opt to purchase resale HDB unit with bank loan. As such, you can opt to purchase the HDB unit first and sell off your condo within 6 months from key collection.
