Hi,

I need some urgent advice regarding landlord making unreasonable deductions from security deposit. My two year rental lease got over in October. He is deducting large amounts for some very small issues. Even his agent agrees that he is being unreasonable. He never discussed the deductions with us and has just decided to deduct the amount. He has stopped taking our calls and that of agent. What shall I do? Is there any legal action I can take?

Also, our lease says that he has to refund the security deposit with in 14 days of lease getting over. He has not done that yet. What action can I take regarding that?
