Hi, I hope for some advice to the following :
5rm HDB Pt Blk at marine parade was owned by a sister in law, who subsequently transferred this unit ownership to her parents in law, so as to apply for a new flat. When she lost her job, after some years and struggle, she sold that new float after 5 years.
Now that the parents in law has 4 siblings and they are now full owners of this 5rm Pt Blk. In the event that both passed on, 1) With their own scribbled will, jointly signed, to allocate the proceeds of sale of the flat, will HDB or the courts recognise their will and estate division ?
2) If they have no recognised will, how long will HDB take to deal with the estate and how will the authorities allocate the estate ?
