Hi. I have viewed a cluster house that I am keen to purchase. It is an old freehold property (1979) and the owner had enclosed the roof terrace- I was told the MCST/BCA had let that slide as the property was constructed pre-BCA and rulings about such matters. However, is there any way to get the actual floor area properly reflected in the government and MCST records?

I ask this to ensure I can sell the property reflecting the appropriate floor area, for bank loans and in case the property were to go en bloc down the road. Thanks!
