Hi, I had signed letter of intent and paid good faith deposit to an agent for renting an HDB. After the payment we didnt want to rent it. We told the agent that we did not want to continue. But agent said we have to pay the full security deposit anyways because the owner had signed letter of intent. So we paid the full deposit and signed the TA a few days after that. But before stamping the TA, we told the agent that we did not want to go ahead. We told agent not to do the stamping. So stamping was not done. Is the TA still valid? We also not sure whether our money is with the agent or the owner? Are we entitled to get the deposit back since the TA was not stamped? Thank you.
