Hi, I got a TA from a D09 landlord, but for his privacy, he will not show his NRIC, nor is he willing to give his address or any form of contact. I was advised by my agent this is a standard TA. One of the clause states that...Any notice required under this Agreement shall be sufficiently served if it is sent by post in a registered letter addressed to the Tenant or the Landlord or other person or persons to be served by name at their address specified herein of if left at the last known place of abode or business. A notice sent by registered letter shall be deemed to be given at the time when it ought in due course of post to be delivered at the address to which it is sent.
Do u think this is fishy?
Without landlord address, I can't do anything.
What can go wrong?
Who will be responsible if any thing goes wrong?
Agent said this is a standard TA. take it or leave it, owner is a nice old man with many properties and this is the standard.
Is there anything we can do about it?
