Hi gurus, recently I want to purchase a property for my family and I found out some freehold properties are extremely cheap in geylang area. May I the reason why this area is so much unpopular in Singapore, I mean freehold properties within city area sell even cheaper than public housing? Also I hear from my local friends they say you cannot get bank loan if you want to buy geylang properties, is that true? Thanks.
