It depends on your existing financial commitments and income level. I have replied to your another post and it'll be great to do a basic financial plan based on your existing financial situation and topping up with the sales of your existing unit. With that, we can study on the market selling prices of your intended purchase to have a better idea and talk to a qualified banker for advise.

Hi Den,

Currently banks are able to lend till age of 70/75, however dependent on your financial commitments, salary and credit bureau.

Perhaps i can arrange my top bankers to do a financial calculation on your sale and purchase of flat, and also to discuss further the cash and cpf portion u could be getting from the sale, and thereafter the finances we need to commit for purchasing?

Afternoon,

Banks will be able to comfortably loan you up to age of 70/75, depending on your financial status and the age of the unit that you are buying.
You still need to worry about how much CPF you can use, as both of you have hit the retirement age of 55.
