Afternoon,

As SC, your second property will be subjected to 7% ABSD. by holding onto both properties, I would believe the appreciation will easily exceed 7% before you collect your keys. The rental yield of either the HDB unit or the condo will also help to cushion this effect. Your main concern should be, if your HDB is still under mortgage, the 50% downpayment where 25% have to be in cash and balance in either cash or CPF. To top that off, you are required to set aside the CPF minimum sum of $71k.
