Hi, during covid19 period as physical visit is banned so I have confirmed unit on rent after seeing pics and video. And even send deposit to owner. But when visited the house. I found hairline cracks in all walls, even sofa was not in good condition. When I raised this concern and said I can't take house and return the deposit as whats shown in house its not like that. Agent started threatening me that they will file case against me in Singapore MOM and even call police for trespassing their property as she gave me a key to view the unit on good faith. After sometime she said owner is ready to paint the wall and responsible for cracks. What to do in this situation.. I want my deposit back, don't want to leave in house as they break my trust.. I paid deposit as 1750.will they return the deposit fully, if not fully then how much. Please help. Also its unfair to force someone in house.. Let me know what can be done ASAP.
