Hi
Currently I am living in a condo on 2 years lease. As per the current tenancy agreement, the recontracting can be done for another year. However, we wish to renew for another 2 years. Is it legally possible?
Or do we need to sign a fresh 2 years lease contract with same landlord?

Kindly advise

You can renew for another 2 years no a problem. Owner will be glad to work with you on these.

Hi, usually the landlord will prefer to talk to you on this renewal issue again upon reaching the end of your current lease.

Hi,

Landlord will be more than happy if you renew the lease for another 2 years. You can revise the renewal lease term at your advantage if you keen to do so too.
