Hi,

As a tenant at a condo where we moved in 1 month ago, we requested the landlord some things to fix. However, we have never heard from him and it seems that he ignores our request.

In that case, we can send a registered letter or something?

No peace of mind since moving in this condo.

Thanks

Hi, at the time of submitting the Letter Of Intent (LOI) together with the deposit cheque, I believe your agent has also stated about your request on it, before handing it over to the landlord's agent to get his landlord to sign. So you would have a case here.

    Hi Aaron,
    Thanks for your advice.
However, I do not know landlord's address nor agent's address. They did not put it, by purpose, I suppose.
I will try to call you during the week.
    Regards,
Dear tenant,

If all procedures prior to entering the lease agreement are done prim and proper with documents supporting your case, you may inform the landlord in writing to make good whatever defects required if it affects the quality of living in the apartment by a deadline, otherwise you can engage your own contractors to make good these defects and the payment to the contractors be deducted from the rental.
