1) This is not uncommon.
2) Their responsibility in the property is when they are still staying there to ensure it is in the same condition as you had viewed and offered for OTP.
3) Upon sales completion, it is the buyer's responsibility to uphold the property.
4) We had already lost all the kampong spirit as we advanced from village lifestyle to city pattern. You and the seller are not friends but just 2 parties doing sell and buy relationship. There is no return purchase requirement.
5) Thus it is completely legal and nothing wrong with this.
6) You may ask the seller want they want you to do if there is any snail mail addressing to them appear in the mailbox.
