Hello,
My husband and me bought a resale flat recently. I am the co-owner and he is the occupier. We have NOT completed the MOP yet. His father wanted to transfer the ownership of a private property to his name now. Can this be done so? Thank you.

I am puzzled by your question. If you bought the flat with your husband, may I know who is the other co-owner?

Anyway, chances are your husband is not able to have an interest in private residential property as you have not fulfilled the MOP.

Hi,

Technically he got no property under your husband. Your husband is an Essential occupier for the unit that you both are staying.

If your father in law wanted to do. Just make an written permission to have it. state your reason for doing so.

Ask and you will be given.
