Hello guru, i am a tennant of a condo apartment. We moved in 8 months ago and for the past 7 months there has been renovations going on above us. Unfortunately this co-incided with the arrival of a new baby. It has been very tough and has taken its toll on my health. We have found several replacement tenants, some who are even willing to pay more than us. but the owner says no every time for various unreasonable reasons. They recently decided they only want corporate lease-which is very hard for us to find. We have been trying for 5 months to fill our apartment- we have an agent helping us also. We are desperate to move out as the renovations keep continuing (8 months) and I'm going crazy! It doesnt help that i am at home a lot with the baby and toddler. We have even sent the owner a doctors cert. owner is a lawyer and we feel we have no rights :( Any advice? Thanks
