Sincerely hope you could help me out here.
I have signed a tenancy agreement (with a stamp duty) with my landlord for the rental of the premises.
Landlord has thereafter expressed (verbally) that they wish to terminate the lease (3 months into the rent), and has started to conduct house viewings. I have expressed that i wish to continue staying at the premises.
I have then messaged the landlord and confirmed her intention of such, and we agreed on a 1 month notice.
Now, when i have asked the landlord for the deposit and for the compensation (1 month equivalent for early termination) as per contract, landlord has started stating that i was the one that initiated the break of the contract, that she will not be paying me and instead expects me to pay her. Absolute madness.
With constant spamming everyday, shouting at me over the phone, i am very stressed.
Should i still bother speaking to her or just take all the evidence to small claims?
