Can i will my hdb to my foreign wife after i pass away? I'm a SC and my wife is from india. We are currently planning to move to india since i was not allowed to marry her in sg because she is a work permit holder and so since i don't have much choice i'll be moving to india and marry her in india.

i'm worried after my passing away, what would happen to my wife. so if i will the hdb to her, will she be able to inherit it? Or at the least sell it off without any issues? because sg gov did not allow us to marry, and i'm not sure if after my passing away she will be allowed to enter into sg and inherit the house or sell it away?

The house is currently under my name and my dad. Appreciate any help regarding this.

P.s: I'm also going to rent out my hdb soon, use that to survive in india. Thanks

Hi,

I would be most glad to assist you further and please feel free to let me know if you need any assistance. Have a good day ahead. By the way, you may like to clarify this issue with the HDB branch office of your estate. As firstly, in the event of your passing, HDB will need to ascertain the married status of your spouse as both of you are not married in Singapore in the 1st place.
