Hi there, thanks for writing to us on AskGuru.

It depends on the type of property you are buying.

For Housing and Development Board (HDB) flat, it is HDB's requirement that you can only use the value of the flat determined by HDB.

For private property, you can use the valuation report done by a bank's valuer.

Hope this answers your question.

Best Regards,

It depend on the type of property you purchase.

If you are purchasing a private property, then yes, you can use the valuation from the bank that you took the loan from.

However, if you're purchasing a HDB flat, then you will have to submit a valuation request via HDB resale portal. Bank private valuation will not be accepted.

I am experienced and well-versed in both HDB and private transactions. I will be able to assist you in your property plans.

Should you need require further assistance in matters relating to property, please contact me at my mobile 9748 6305. I will be happy to assess and share with you the possibilities for you in the current market.
