There is no need to pay levy when buying resale HDB.

MAY i serve you in selling your 3room HDB? I charge commission at 1% of selling price only.

By levy I assume you mean resale levy. If your second HDB property is from the resale open market, then there will be no resale levy charged.

Resale levy is payable when you buy your first subsidized flat and buying a second subsidized flat or a second timer taking over the ownership of a subsidized flat.

Therefore, in your case, buying from resale open market, you do not need to pay.

You are not required to pay any levy for purchase of resale flat after selling our current unit. However, it's quite an upgrade from your current unit, in terms of size and cost, it would be prudent to do your math correctly.
