agent cheated me. I have booked a HDB for rent (Address: Block 162,Mei ling street).

I have paid him in total of $3745 including one month advance,one month rental,agency fees and stamp duty.

Our move in date is 28-Feb-2015 and I am not getting proper response from him.I have only one day left for move in and I don't have another place to stay.

I stay with family and I really need a house.

What should I do now? Please advise.

Hi Karthik, you can lodge a complain to the CEA against this agent. If it is serious enough, I suggest you go to the police first.
