nice place
The Sail @ Marina Bay is well maintain and made quite a big difference to this 2008 dev. The lobby feels fresher, gym is much better and the pools and tennis courts are nicely done. I especially like the gym view, very motivating to exercise for me! Managed to lose some weight and build more muscle actually.

convenience + views
I work at Marina Bay Financial Centre, so can walk to office without dealing with traffic. MRT also very convenient, with Downtown and Raffles Place nearby and other lines within walking distance. The best thing about The Sail @ Marina Bay, the view is the real winner. My unit faces Marina Bay and the skyline is amazing, especially during National Day or New Year's when there's fireworks show. We can just sit at home and watch everything from the balcony. Only downside is the area becomes quite lifeless on weekends, since many offices and shops are closed. Food options also not as convenient unless you walk further. But we're hardly at home anyways, usually out and about exploring the island!

B(right) place to be
I love the apartment itself, especially the views. The Sail @ Marina Bay doesn't have casual breakfast or supper downstairs like in the heartlands though, so choices can be limited esp on weekends when there's no office crowd and fewer shops open. You need to walk towards Raffles Place or Chinatown for more options, good for morning stroll. Another thing is my unit can get very hot in the afternoon due to the glass windows. don't get me wrong, they look beautiful but Singapore sun is no joke. Blackout curtains, aircon and tinted windows are your friends.
